Blogging is taking the world by storm. Major corporations, marketing and advertising agencies, and even political campaigns are recognizing the importance and influence of bloggers. And not just bloggers, MOMMY BLOGGERS! As a demographic, Mommy Bloggers are big, and getting bigger! (And not just because we’re eating Doritos while sitting at the computer!)
Blogging is about community. It’s about being heard. It’s about pursuing your dreams. And these three benefits are something that we mothers can’t get enough of.
We started Seattle Mom Blogs to help build, promote, and expand the Seattle mom blogger community. We believe that blogging can have an enormously positive effect on women and particularly on mothers. We want to encourage and help women to start blogging. We want to provide a forum where mom bloggers can connect, help each other, share ideas, and have fun!
Join us. We are looking for content from Seattle-area moms (it’s ok if it has been posted elsewhere!) on parenting, local venues, work-life balance, being a stay-at-home-mom, discipline, activities, adoption, pregnancy, sex and relationships… and the many other topics that we moms find interesting.
Blogging experience is not a prerequisite! If you have something to say, we want to help you be heard. Email your article or an article proposal to info@seattlemomblogs.com. This is a great way to drive new traffic to your blog, reach a new and wider audience, and get your voice out there.
If you have comments, feedback, or suggestions, we want to hear them! Email us at info@seattlemomblogs.com.
And be sure to check out our fabulous flair…
Let’s get this party started!

Brilliant idea!!! I got so excited when I saw this on Technorati just a few minutes ago. THANK YOU for putting my blog on the blogroll. I’m really happy something like this got started and I look forward to participating, reading an watching the blog grow. And to whomever designed the little buttons. They rock! I want all of them!

Cool beans, women!! Thanks for link, too! I’d love to add to it, if I can come up with something “constructive” for the site!
