Seattle Blog Moms ‘Post of the Month’ contest

We at Seattle Mom Blogs are proud to announce a contest that is designed to recognize these very special posts. The ones that move you- to tears, to rolling-on-the-floor laughter, to deep reflection. The ones that stick with you long after you’ve left your computer.
YOU be the judge. Nominate your favorite post for the month of AUGUST by leaving a comment here with a link to your favorite post. And tell us why you love it. On the last day of the month, we will open voting for a 1-week period. At the end of the week, we will name the winner (selected by YOU) of the SMB Post of the month contest.

I loved this post about BlogHer. I thought it was so surprising to be able to read how someone felt and find out it was not how I thought she was feeling.

My pick has got to be from The Redneck Mommy. This post, http://theredneckmommy.com/2007/08/03/my-truth/ . Why? Because she never ceases to amaze me with her writing, her honesty and her bravery and hopefully this will be a very lucky month for her family!
I vote for Beast Mom’s post called Parenting is THE most Humbling Experience on Earth. The title speaks for itself and, since my Bungle of Joy is only 17-months-old, it reminds me that I’ve only just begun. It’s the best kind of post: funny, honest, insightful.
