Seattle Mom Blog to Perform
Farida Dowler, also known as Alkelda the Gleeful, is a local storyteller and a member of Seattle Mom Blogs. I was naturally excited when she told me about Kidfest at the Seattle Children’s Museum where she will be performing stories for children. It’s coming up this weekend and if you’ve never seen a really excellent storyteller perform live, you’re in for a treat this weekend.
She has a new feature on her blog called “Spinning Wheel” where she is interviewing people who perform for children or work with children in the Pacific Northwest. She’s got a great group of people lined up already and I look forward to seeing who else she’ll introduce to us.
Thanks for the heads up. We are actually going to the Children’s Museum this weekend anyway, so I’m excited to see everything offered at Kidfest.
