We at Seattle Mom Blogs are delighted to introduce Isabel, from Hola Isabel!, New to Us, and the newly launched We Heart TV.

SMB: Give us the elevator speech about your blogs.
Isabel: I’m not sure what the “elevator speech” means. I ride a lot of elevators, but have never given a speech on one. I guess this is like the 10 second explanation of my blog, right? I am a wife and mother who works full time while living in the city and traveling when I get a chance. And um, I blog about that.

SMB: When did you start blogging?
Isabel: August 8th, 2005 - right after I found out I was pregnant with my baby.

SMB: Why did you start blogging?
Isabel: I’m never sure what to say when asked why I started blogging. I wanted to talk about my pregnancy (since it was too early to tell people in real life), I wanted to talk about my miscarriages (since we didn’t tell people in real life) and to bitch about my family and friends (but that didn’t last long). Mostly I wanted a piece of the blogging pie.

SMB: So, let’s get to the important questions. What’s your favorite Ice Cream?
Isabel: My favorite kind of ice cream is free ice cream.

SMB: If you could have a superpower, what would it be and why?
Isabel: What super power would I want? Believe it or not, I’ve thought a great deal about this. I’m not sure if this is considered a “super power”, but I’d love to not require any sleep. While I do love to sleep, I would love having free time during the night even more.

SMB: What is something you do well?
Isabel: Something I do well? I make cute babies. I’m thinking of going into business for it. Besides that, I can give myself good manicures.

SMB: What is one thing you’ve always wanted to do?
Isabel: I always wanted to go to Paris. But since I’ve done that…I need to think of a new one.

SMB: What is the first blog you started reading?
Isabel: amalah…followed closely by misszoot.

SMB: Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Isabel: In 10 years I imagine that the house we’re building will be done and we’ll be out of this one bedroom apartment. I’d like for my husband and I to be working less and traveling more. And maybe have a few more kids.

SMB: Tell us something random about you.
Isabel: I just bought my first girdle. I love it and am kicking myself for not buying one 10 years ago.
