North Seattle moms being propositioned by “MIL*F Hunters”

Note: I’ve intentionally misspelled MIL*F with an asterisk to avoid attracting the wrong kind of google search traffic.   The acronym is typically written without the asterisk.

Several local moms in the North Seattle area have been propositioned by a man claiming to be part of MIL*F Hunters.  (MIL*F, for those who don’t know, is the acronym made famous by the movie American Pie, and stands for “Mom I’d like to F***.”)

The general trend for these incidents involves a man, who is frequently described as driving a dark-red or maroon hatchback or wagon, who follows and then approaches a mom who is out with her children.  The incident usually begins with the man making a comment about the woman’s appearance, such as “hot mom!” or asking if she is a mom.  This leads to the man inviting the woman to star in a porno about MIL*Fs for $10,000.

In some incidents, the man said that he was a “MIL*F Hunter.”  MIL*F Hunters is a popular website dedicated to mommy porn.

Here is a snippet from one woman’s account:

I was walking with my two kids in the stroller along my street in Laurelhurst when a man in an older (maroon?) station wagon pulled up along side me (after following me for about half a block) and asked me if I was a “mom”. He then asked me if I ever considered acting. After just giving him an odd look, he asked me if I wanted to take a survey and motioned me to come over to his car. I told him “no.” He then asked (in a very drawn out, and not appropriate for this kind of email way) if I was interested in starring in a mommy-porn movie (using the infamous acronym) for ten thousand dollars. He wanted to know where I lived and if I was married. I didn’t give him any information and I spent the majority of our conversation trying to figure out if he was joking. It was only afterwards that i pieced the whole conversation together and felt that it was pretty creepy (following me for half a block, asking me to get in his car, wanting to know where I live, and alas, asking if I wanted to star in a porn movie).

I find the accounts highly disturbing, particularly the persistence showed by this man (following, asking for address, etc.), the fact that he approaches moms who are with their children, and that he clearly is still doing this. It’s a good time to be on guard and carrying your cell phone.
