Being a mom, who works full time outside of the home, means I don’t change a lot of diapers. It’s not unusual for me to only change two diapers a day during the week. Naturally, on the weekends, I change more. But really, two diapers a day is about my average.
Since I’m an extra good mom, my child is programmed to only produce poopy diapers while at school. It’s his little gift to me. And I appreciate it.
While I’m not physically changing a lot of diapers, my kid is still producing his fair share of dirty diapers. And we all know that disposal diapers aren’t very good for the environment. My husband and I have made a commitment to the environment. Our adding disposable diapers to landfills is not part of this commitment.
Because of this commitment to the environment, we recently switched over to using gDiapers, which are a flushable diaper. They break down in about 3 months, as opposed to regular disposable that take up to 500 years!! You can flush gDiapers, throw them in your garbage, or compost them. gDiapers also contain no plastic, no elemental chlorine, no perfumes, no inks or dyes, no latex, and the best…no guilt!! So not only are they good for Planet Earth, but they are good for our babies little bodies.
I love using gDiapers so much and since I believe so strongly in the product, I’m offering a chance for a lucky reader to win a gDiaper Starter Kit, which contains: 2 “little g” pants, 10 plastic-free, flusable refills, a swishstick and a users guide.
To win the gDiaper Starter Kit, you need to leave a comment on THIS POST (follow link) by Friday at midnight (PST).

Oops! Ladies, don’t do what I just did and put your entry into THESE comments. You have to click the link above and put your entry into Isabel’s other blog. That’s totally obvious, I know, but I didn’t want to confuse anyone with my blunder!! DUH!!!!

We used these with our younger son, and they ROCK. I hope everyone gives them try. There is a small adjustment period as you try to get the hang of perfectly “loading” the insert into the diaper, but after that they are just amazing.
