A Community for Blogging Mothers in Greater Seattle and the East Side
I was supposed to be a teacher …. I have my master’s degree from Antioch University in elementary education. After substituting in the Lake Washington School District for a short time, I moved with my husband to Amsterdam, Netherlands. We had a fantastic year in which I worked as a freelance writer for Kaplan Publishing, biked around the city, and met wonderful friends from all over the world. It was during our time in Amsterdam that I found out I was pregnant. So, we packed up all of our stuff and moved back to the Emerald City. Now here I am, blogging about my adventures being a new mom in Seattle.
